Dog's N-Word Victim Bites Back with Lawsuit?

The woman whose relationship with Duane "Dog" Chapman's son Tucker pushed him to bark out his now-infamous N-word-laced rant against her is planning to growl back with a lawsuit of her own, according to the National Enquirer.

Monique Shinnery, against whom Dog used the racial epithet several times during his taped tirade, tells the tab that she's going to sue for slander. "I want justice," says Monique. "He has slandered me, stated that I have bad character and repeatedly lied about me on national television."

Chapman has said on his recent whimpering tour that he apologized to Shinnery, but her lawyer tells the Enquirer that Dog reached out through his lawyer, not personally.

61. Is she for real!?!?! Last time I checked, freedom of speech was still a Contstitutional right? It's not a nice word but he still has a right to say it.

62. the truth is the best defense for slander. if there is an instance in which a jury of her peers would think she is a bad person then it will be hard to prove slander. also if she is a part of the scheme to have dog publicly say the n word for publicity to make money then she has put herself in the public eye, which in my opinion it is harder to slander. also she needs to prove her damages. like did she not get a job because of what dog says or did she lose a contract for something or what exactly her damages are and then to get a jury to decide monitarily what the damages are. i say she is of bad character, dog is of bad character, and his son is a b!tch for setting up his own father. of course everything i have said may be exactly wrong. im just a surfer that likes to talk smart.

64. OMG! Are you kidding me? She is suing Dog?! I think that she should sue her little ugly A** boyfriend. I used to watch Dog all the time with my mom! We loved his show and now they took it away just because he said the "N" word! My god! How many white guys do you see saying the "N" word and now just because Dog said it in a phone conversation that was just bewteen his A** son and him and was leaked by his son they take him off the air and everyone gets on him because of it! Get over it!!! She is just a Gold Digger who needs to grow up.

65. This whole thing is so overblown. first of all, Dog did not publish this, which it means it was a private conversation between him and his idiotic son. Even if he said it publicly, it was not slander, it was an opinion. Imagine if everyone sued every time another person said something about them that they did not like. Get a life, and get an education.

67. OOOOKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While your at it sue every Black Rapper who sings about his N!!! Then go get a job. Maybe Dogg should sue for premeditating to illegally tape this conversation and releaseing it to the public for financial gain and for defamation and slander of his charactor and for emotional duress on him and his family.

Give me a break!!!!! And you wonder why people refer to black people as N's

69. ----18. Give me a break!!!! This was a PRIVATE conversation that was made public by her own boyfriend! If she wants to sue someone, she should sue her boyfriend for making the conversation public!

70.
There are no grounds for a lawsuit. It's a private conversation recorded without the other party's knowledge, therefore most likely inadmissible.
It looks like just a scheme to get money, maybe he was right about her...

71. SLANDER??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! Monique please. You gotta know that if you succeed, that every Poly is going to hunt you down and beat you with their fire sticks! Not only that but their poiballs will end up around your neck!!!
Remember that girl Illie on the show? She is a whole lota Samoan woman!!! I'd think twice if I were you.
The mention that DOG reached out an apology through his lawyer. DO YOU BLAME HIM!!! She jacked him once, she'll do it again and again!!!

73. He should sue his son and stop apoligizing. It's only word. He does not have to apoligise to the whole world.
He was certainly right about the girl. What he was afraid of happening did. His son is a Judas. He is! he is! He is!
