Dog Chapman's Hate-Filled Tirade

1681. Wasn't a very nice thing to say, but we DON"T know the whole story behind that conversation, and if it was directed at someone in particular, that is for them to deal with PRIVATELY. It's funny how many people will throw stones, but not look at their own msigivings. I miss watching his show and all the good he DOES. At least he can own up to his mistakes and apologize. Not everyone can or will do that. He really shouldn't be punished by anyone other than his Maker, not by us. If you think he's that awful, then don't watch the show!!! 1682. Misetoile, prayer does have its place, but making the public aware of hurts and corruption through dialogue also has its place. Do you think blacks would be where they are if Martin Luther would have simply stayed home in some private closet to pray? You over simplify. Do you think it may be because you have no experience with true racism in your personal life, in your immediate family, in your ancestral history? Truth needs to be exposed.

Also, why do you call Dog Chapman a backslidden Christian? I thought that, in order to be a CHRISTian, one had to be a believer of and in Jesus Christ. Dog publicly announced that he does not believe Jesus. Dog said, "I am not a Jesus-only kind of guy" and went on to say that there are many paths to God – many “christISH” ways to come to the Father. That is not the teachings of Jesus Christ and no true Christian would make such a statement. If he does, he has revealed by his own words that, good or bad, sweet or mean, beautiful or ugly, royalty or peasant, his beliefs are in stark opposition to Jesus' own teachings about himself. Did Jesus not say, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."(?) Also, is it not a commandment that Christians should have NO OTHER GODS before them? I believe I heard that this is one of the Ten Commandments. How could there be more than one path to God, the Father, if Jesus said otherwise? How can all paths lead to God when “other gods” are forbidden?

Your words are appreciated, but you over simplify some very serious issues - RACISM and CHRISTIANITY.

I even have black friends that are racist against their own race just live with it and the recording of the phone convesation is against the privacy law so leave it alone

1688. I think everyone is over-reacting we all say things we don't mean when we are fired up or angry ..... We are all HUMAN! After all the good Dog has done for everyone he tries to help people and get them to straighten up their lives he feels for people YES what he said was wrong and how would people react if he said his son's girlfriend was a cracker ?? They would laugh it wouldn't be a big deal. To me personally the "N" word isn't a reference to african americans it means IGNORANT a white guy could be called the "N" word as well because I could name MANY IGNORANT WHITE PEOPLE I KNOW more than any of my african american friends.......I think everyone needs to move on to the real issues in the world not what "celebrity's are saying, wearing, and how they breathe, What is the big facination anyways??? They are on tv so what get a camcorder and you can be on tv too!!!! really !!it's just another job/ form of art and expression of self.

1689. Dog thought he was having a personal conversation with his son. He still lives in America and has the right to free speech, whether you agree with him or not. He wasn't voicing this opinion on his TV show, it was a PRIVATE conversation. I personally don't use that languagew and choose not to converse with people that do, however, I have said things to the peole I'm close to and expected them to stay private. We all have and wil continue to.

I myself have no problem with DOG.After all we all have freedom of speech & DOG is just using his part of his speech freedom.I may not agree with him using the "N" word but it is his choose to say what he feels.I will be glad when his show comes back on TV I will watch his shows cause of what he does & what he stands for.He has gotten a bad person off the streets thatr no one else had ever done.Andrew Luster is in prison thanks to DOG & his Crew.DOG is one of my HEROS then & now & he will always be to me.
