No Nike Deal for Vick

Michael Vick is in deep doggy doo-doo with his endorsement partners for his alleged role in a dogfighting ring. The Atlanta Falcons quarterback has been suspended from big money contracts with Nike, Reebok and a trading card company, thanks to a federal dogfighting indictment against him.

This week, Nike suspended Vick without pay, and released a statement that "Nike is concerned by the serious and highly disturbing allegations made against Michael Vick, and we consider any cruelty to animals inhumane and abhorrent." The company vowed to stop selling Vick-related products but chose not to terminate his contact until his case was filed. Due process of puppy law!

Reebok opted to stop selling Vick's Falcons jersey, as has the NFL, which has suspended sales of Vick's number 7 jersey on nflshop.com. And the Donruss trading card company has pulled Vick's card from new packs.

348. jolly green how can you call people a**hole...the person writing could be your momma...no momma? then maybe poppy...or some family member that have a different view than you do.

I am sure our founding father's meant freedom of resposible speech...it is persons like you who stop people from wanting to express themselves an therefore not putting forward constructive ideas that can make this world a better place.
How do you know if a dog is not racist, we teach our children to be racist, they are not born like that, so why can't we train a dog to be racist. DOGS ARE NOT STUPID, but they can learn. What Do you mean dog don't say stupid things...You got a talking dog????

349. As far as I know animals are color-blind both literally and figuratively. And yes, they *do* communicate with us. Not all communication involves talking. Too bad animal abusers don't realize that.

351. I think the prisioners should make a rape stand for him when he goes to prison. Let him be strapped down while he gets raped. They would not have indicted him if they didn't have enough on him. His partner just turned on him and said he would testify against him. Hello, this guy is twisted.

352. Michael is a monster. Michael is a low life dog molester. How did anyone acquaint what he did to abortion? Some folks need to present their political addenda any chance they get. Why not get all the dishonest, lowlife pro athletes together and have them play a ball game like the Mayan games. Death to the losers. Sorry, but I hate people who use animals to amuse themselves.
