31. A dog isn`t an accesory. It`s a living creature, and should be treated, well, with care. How many dogs have we all seen Britney buy in the past, hmm, five years? I`m guessing a straight up ten puppys all belonging to Brit Brit that we`ve never seen in public. It`s kinda sad because I don`t think ANY of these young hollywood stars would even care if their baby puppy ran away. Britney wouldn`t care if her baby ran away. Maybe she would, that`s mean.

I have a Yorkie puppy, and they demand the most care out of any of the dogs I have owned. [ive only owned two,lol] and they need to be fed, washed, walked, brushed everyday, and looked after. They take utmost responsibility and you MUST have that to take care of the dog. Sure, a miniskirt might look cute on the Yorkie, but cuteness isn`t going to make up for the fact the dog needs its shots and to be sparyed/neutered. As cute as the dogs are, they are NOT playthings, and if you aren`t going to take care of your pet, then it shouldn`t be yours.

32. There are a lot worse people in the world who own pets. Britney Spears is not one of them. If I were a dog and had the choice of being owned by some crackhead living in a trailer park or being owned by Britney Spears, I think Id choose Britney. Duh people.

33. I agree with the Humane Society - most puppies found in pet stores come from God-awful puppymills (if you don't know what one is - google it and be sickened). After being in animal rescue/fostering for 14 years, rescuing dogs from these hideous breeding farms (most of the poor older dogs have been so abused, overbred, isolated, undernourished that they have to be put down humanely) I will again remind people - PLEASE do not give your money to pet stores!!! There are pets in shelters and in foster homes all over - if you want a pure-breed, contact a pure-breed rescue organization and give an abandoned dog a second chance at a good life!

34. Why can't she buy a dog? as long as she takes her in to get her or him shots? I bought a Golden retriever Does that make it ok? Why shame her, she's human And you people. You need to A) get a job that keeps you away from the internet and B) Get a LIFE. You Blast her for trying. She's great she'll get her stuff together find a guy who won't drain her and one who brings her up spiritually :)

41. If Britney wants to be left alone, she can do what many other celebs have done. Buy a home out of Hollywood. Cook , plant a flower garden, be a mother to her children. Many celebs travel to NYC or LA when their jobs require it and the rest of the time, they are enjoying a normal life. She craves the constant spotlight, so she is getting just what she wants.

These celebs need to stop buying pocketbook sized dogs as fashion accessories. Let's hope she doesn't dye the Yorkie pink to match her wig.

42. STOP - let's think about this now. YES you can go to the shelter and get a puppy, BUT because Britney did not do this, she is again a bad parent - NO. Britney I got your back, Yorkie's are the most expensive dog out there right now if you look at that market. Have any of you ever had to raise dogs????? They are not cheap!!!!! I am sure if something happens to any of her dogs - you wolves would be all over her and she knows it! SO keep up her free publicity as her bank account interest keeps building. She could buy the dog a house and a nanny..... You don't even know what charities Brit contributes to right? CHECK YOURSELF!!!

You are an idiot. Buying a dog IS a major life decision, even more so than a marriage, because dogs live an average of 10-15 years, and most marriages do not last that long. If you buy a dog, you should know that is is NOT a toy, or anything to be thrown away like garbage when you get sick of it. If you DO decide to get a dog, you should realize that it is like having a child, and if you are not able to care for it, you should not get it. Brit-Brit cannot even care for herself OR her children, let alone a dog, so she should be barred from buying animals (and adopting them as well...not that she ever would). If you have seen the pics of her carrying that poor thing, she carries it like it's a sack of potatoes, or a purse. She doesn't give a crap about it, it probably won't get it's shots, get wormed, be housetrained, or be taken care of in any way. Oh, and where are those Chihuahuas she had years ago? Well, according to K-Fed, they had to be given away because they were pooping all over the house, and HER CHILDREN WERE EATING THE POOP! Now, does that sound like the type of person that should have dogs, OR children? I grew up with Yorkies (and birds) and someone as irresponsible, self-absorbed, stupid, lazy, and useless as Britney should NOT have animals, PERIOD. EVER. I hope the Humane Society gets that dog, and the bird, and finds a loving home for them. I'd take them myself actually, since I am active in Boxer Rescue, and various bird rescues, and know how the process works. I am just thanking God that she did not get a Boxer....I would go insane thinking of the loving, sweet, needy, gentle, caring, and sensitive Boxer in that hellhole she calls a house. Thank God a Boxer cannot be carried like a purse, and is therefore of no interest to her. And her doing this just makes me more disgusted with her, since she is apparently a selfish, spoiled, vapid little brat that only cares about herself, not her kids, her animals, her family, or anything. I truly hope karma gets her, because she has caused a lot of misery to others, and she deserves some in return. She makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.

45. To all the people that defend this ditz, could it be that to see her for what she is, would hit a little close to home??? She has got to be the dumbest celeb I have ever seen and yet some of you act like she is some sort of angel who hasn't done anything wrong. Sorry, but this little girl who refuses to grow up goes out in public, cancer sticks in hand, dangling a little puppy like it is an after thought, and with a pink wig no less, and you think we have no right to comment? If she doesn't like it, she could find ways to be a lot more private like many big stars do. It is obvious she wants attention, and I for one am glad to give it to her. It may not be the kind she is looking for, but she'll get it.
