Paris: Poor Penmanship but an Ace Artiste!

Last week, lady blog Jezebel had Paris Hilton's jail-time note examined by expert handwriting analyst Sheila Kurtz. According to Kurtz, Paris' scrawl style reveals a, uh, troubled soul. "Rarely do we see an independent adult write with such diminished capacity of comprehension," said Kurtz. So she's no Soren Kierkegaard." Harsh!

This week, the gals at Jezebel took Paris' artistic merits to task, and had Paris' drawing for TMZ's own Harvey Levin analyzed by acclaimed contemporary art expert James Romberger. His findings? She's a regular Frida Kahlo! Paging Mary Boone!

Says Romberger: [Paris] linework demands a new genre. Poignant and unintentionally surreal, heavily-laden with encoded symbology. He calls her work, "post-modernist-ish insider/outsider Art."

And that's art with a capital "A"!

# 56 - lightbulb "Sometimes a duck is JUST A DUCK".

Once someone tells one lie assume everything they say is a lie.
To question this picture is realistic with Paris's tract record with truth. That's not reaching very far. I'd much rather question then to go blindly into the naive Paris PR light.

" Who ever " made the drawing knew how to draw. They intentionally made it to appear more amateur then their skill leval.
In other words that was the intended style which shows skill.

65. I think Paris is very coquettish and knows how to manipulate men very well - did you notice with Larry's first question he asked Paris why she was doing the interview and she answered with flattery for Larry. I think 95% of guys probably fall for that, but Larry didn't. I think Harvey Levin did fall for it . . . Harvey you're a good guy but it makes you look like a patsy when you speak out in support of Paris without staying in touch with what the rest of us think of her as expressed on your boards. Stay grounded! :)

67. If Paris Hilton is an "artiste" I'm Vincent Van Gogh. She draws on the same level as most 9th graders.

68. I don't get it.
Her handwriting doesn't look that bad.
why can't anyone leave this woman alone and let the world rest in peace?

69. Most men always fall for flattery, especially from "helpless," dumb blondes. It's a proven fact of nature. Maybe they cannot help themselves but how pathetic to be so at mercy to ones biology.

To the suggestion that Paris should fix her nose, I learned yesterday from photos posted here that she has already had at least two plastic surgeries to fix her original nose, which was much wider than now. And what I learned from that is that a nose gives a face its character. When someone has a nose that is not their own, quite frequently it changes the face of their character, too. She was better off with her original nose.

TMZ was merely posting what some other blog site had analyzed and written about Paris's handwriting and art. None of it was a TMZ opinion.

The handwriting is childish to say the least, and the dotting i's and j's with hearts is way beyond infantile. It's not sexy, cute, appealing unless you are ten years old. Grown women who "spend all day in the board room and office" don't dot letters with hearts.

I don't know about the artwork. I'm not much of an artist myself and what she drew is rather on the level of something I might draw. However, I'd never let a drawing like that get out of my possession, certainly not on the public media waves. I will say that her drawing told a story, one that was on her mind at the time.

A psychologist would look at her drawing and examine the size of the girl's body in the picture in relation to the other objects, the size of her head, her eyes, her expression, her placement of hands, posture of the body, objects surrounding the person, placement of the person in the picture and draw some psychological conclusions as to how the woman sees herself and the world around her.

Millions of people draw, play music, sing, write stories, but only a few blessed ones deserve the title of artist. The rest are just amateurs, doodlers, dabblers and nothing wrong with that. However, they are not artists nor deserving of any attention other than the attention of friends and family.

And to some other poster, she went to Hawaii, which is in this country, the USA. I'm sure there are reporters and media reps there, too. Strange we have not had multiple sitings of her, no drive bys with the window rolled down. I guess if you want to be out of the public eye, it can be arranged.

71. Ummmmmmmmm, some of these 'comments' amaze me........the writers must have 'graduated' from the same school as Paris?? For real, now, doesn't Paris' "people" handle her mail and has NOBODY shown her how to use Microsoft Word or even a typewriter? Maybe celebs, the ones who have earned it and the ones who havn't earned it, should be licensed to write/type and speak!

72. So, where is she this weekend??? She is in Maui, natch, so that she can finger herself on camera some more, like the last time she was in Maui in the summer. Is there anything this bitch won’t do to get on camera? At least Jennifer Love Hewitt doesn't flash private parts to the world!!!
What a shame to be Paris Hilton, born into such wealth and privilege and to be such a fame whore and so shallow and so totally worthless. She could have made such a positive difference in the world instead of squandering it all for selfish purposes. Her parents are to blame for this! Raising her to be a shallow, self-absorbed, insipid “princess” instead of a valid human being. Her mother indeed is trailer-park trash with money---fully-funded low-class trash. Much like Lynne Spears and her nasty product--Britney. Neither Britney nor Paris has any talent other than throwing tantrums in public and getting what they want that way. What a damn waste.

73. Britain raised its terror alert to "critical," the highest possible level, and the Bush administration announced plans to increase security at airports and on mass transit.

One of the men in the car was in critical condition at a hospital with severe burns, while the other was in police custody, said Scottish Police Chief Constable Willie Rae. He said a "suspect device" was found on the man at the hospital and it was taken to a safe location where it was being investigated.

Rae would not say whether the device was a suicide belt. British security officials said evidence pointed toward the Glasgow attack being a suicide mission.

"I can confirm that we believe the incident at Glasgow airport is linked to the events in London yesterday," Rae said. "There are clearly similarities and we can confirm that this is being treated as a terrorist incident."

Police foiled the plot Friday after two cars were found in central London packed with explosives, one outside a nightclub near Piccadilly Circus and another parked nearby.

What is the world coming to?

75. I can't believe how limited her writing capabilites are! If I were to read this letter without knowing who wrote it, I would think it was a high school or middle school student! Maybe she should use some of her fortune's on some education???
